1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern the use of the Teedia platform, its artificial intelligence agent Teed and its apps for Microsoft Teams and Slack (together, the “Services”), published by TEEDIA. They apply to any person using the Services (the “User”).
The Services are provided to a customer organization (the “Customer”, usually the User’s employer) under a subscription agreement with TEEDIA. In case of conflict, that agreement prevails over these Terms.
2. Access to the Services
Access is granted by the Customer, which creates accounts and sets each User’s rights. Users sign in with their personal credentials or with their organization’s single sign-on (Microsoft, Google).
Users keep their credentials confidential and promptly report any unauthorized use of their account to their administrator or to support@teedia.fr.
3. Acceptable use
Users use the Services for professional purposes and in compliance with the law. In particular, they must not:
- try to access data or features they have no rights to, or bypass security measures;
- extract data in bulk, including by automated means not provided by the Services;
- post unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory content, or content that infringes the privacy of others;
- misuse the Teed agent, for example with instructions meant to bypass its rules;
- disrupt the Services or use them to spread malicious software.
4. The Teed artificial intelligence agent
Teed is an artificial intelligence agent. Its answers are generated automatically and labeled as such; they may contain errors. Users check important information before relying on it.
Teed acts with the User’s own access rights: it never reads or changes data the User cannot access. It asks for confirmation before changing any data.
Teed is an assistant: decisions about people (appraisals, training, mobility, pay) remain made by humans, under the Customer’s responsibility. Users can rate an answer or report inappropriate content with the buttons provided or by writing to support@teedia.fr.
5. Microsoft Teams and Slack apps
The Teedia apps for Microsoft Teams and Slack are installed by the Customer’s administrator. They deliver Teedia notifications and let Users chat with Teed; conversations are linked to the User’s Teedia account and available in the platform.
The use of Microsoft Teams and Slack remains subject to their publishers’ own terms, which TEEDIA does not control.
6. User content
Content entered or uploaded in the Services (comments, documents, messages to Teed) belongs to the Customer or the User. TEEDIA processes it only to provide the Services, following the Customer’s instructions. Users are responsible for the content they post.
7. Personal data
For data processed in the Services, the Customer is the data controller and TEEDIA acts as a processor. Details on processing and rights are in the privacy policy. Users exercise their rights with the Customer; TEEDIA assists as committed.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, their software, trademarks, interfaces and the content provided by TEEDIA remain the property of TEEDIA or its licensors. Users receive a personal, non-transferable right of use, limited to the duration of their access.
9. Availability and changes
TEEDIA provides the Services according to the commitments set out in the Customer’s subscription agreement. The Services may change to be improved or to remain compliant with regulations.
10. Suspension and end of access
Access ends when the Customer withdraws it or when its subscription ends. TEEDIA may suspend access in case of a serious breach of these Terms or a threat to the security of the Services, informing the Customer.
11. Liability
TEEDIA’s liability towards the Customer is governed by the subscription agreement. TEEDIA is not liable for the use Users make of Teed’s answers, nor for third-party services (Microsoft, Slack) used with the Services.
12. Changes to these Terms
TEEDIA may change these Terms. The current version is published on teedia.fr with its update date; Users are informed in the Services of any significant change.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts.
